Billy Bishop
President / Owner

Billy Bishop is a native of Orlando; his family has lived and conducted business in the Central Florida market since the early 1900's. He has had the opportunity to work with several prestigious real estate and construction firms in the Greater Orlando area. As Vice President of Performance Construction, Billy oversees all commercial development and brokerage services. His experience includes commercial real estate sales, leases and acquisitions, new construction, tenant finish projects, retail, office and industrial development. His extensive background has allowed him to work on many high profile projects. The projects range from the tenants build out for Gambro Health Care to specialty concrete and construction work for Seaworld, in addition to numerous office and warehouses, all located in Central Florida. Billy has also worked strongly with Crescent Resources in the Primera Office Development.

Joel MacKenzie
General Superintendent

Joel MacKenzie comes to us from many years working in the construction industry. Graduating from Lake Mary High School in 1994, Joel entered the industry as a carpenter and later joined a custom millwork company where he worked for ten years. Learning all aspects of cabinet making, he was eventually promoted to field supervisor, managing installation crews for commercial and residential projects of varying scopes. His attention to detail, expert craftsmanship and ability to effectively communicate with customers and crews resulted in 100% customer satisfaction, largely contributing to the success of the company. He is excited to be an opening team member for Performance Construction, and is dedicated to providing excellent client service and producing quality projects.

Bobby Anderson
Superintendent

Bobby Anderson started building almost as soon as he could walk, and has been involved in the commercial and residential construction industries ever since. Raised in Midstate Alabama, he came to Central Florida in 1982. He is skilled in all phases of construction, specializing in carpentry and finishing. Bobby has owned a home improvement company for over ten years. He joins Performance Construction to utilize his hands-on and supervisory experience overseeing the development of our projects.

Billy Murphy
Superintendent

Billy Murphy is a native to Central Florida, his family has lived and been working in the commercial construction business since the early 1960’s. Billy has worked along side his father who has been a general contractor for over six years. Billy came to Performance Construction in 2007 and is continuing to further his construction background while attending Everglades University for a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management.

Carla MacKenzie
Office Manager

Carla MacKenzie, a graduate of the University of Florida, brings more than 12 years commercial and residential construction industry experience to Performance Construction Group. She has been a resident of Central Florida since 1982 and is happy to be part of the Performance Construction Group family.

Tara Lafata
Executive Assistant

Tara Lafata brings more than 10 years of construction experience to Performance Construction Group. Formerly employed by a multimillion dollar general contracting firm, she provides a variety of construction administration and coordination skills to our team. Tara is excited to put her past experience to work and grow within our company. 

Hope Roberts
Administrative Assistant

Hope Roberts, born and raised in Central Florida, is a 7th generation native of Orlando. She is attending The University of Central Florida, earning a degree in Education. Hope joined Performance Construction Group in May of 2007 as our administrative assistant, and has gained knowledge in the field of Commercial Construction and Development.

Caroline Miller
Director of Marketing

Caroline Miller oversees all marketing, advertising and public relations for Performance Construction Group. She develops and maintains the website, marketing brochures, presentation materials and market reports. Caroline is responsible for event planning and advertising for Performance Construction Group, Performance Property Management and Bishop Realty and Development.
